Book Review - How Will You Measure Your Life

 

I finished the book How Will You Measure Your Life this week and it's another must read. The Harvard Business School professor/author Clayton Christensen shares interesting insight on finding fulfillment both in your career and personal life. I was hesitant to read this book at first in fear that it was more of a self help book, but I found that it has interesting and relevant advice for all to follow.

Received this adorable birth announcement from my friend Maggie... thinking I missed an opportunity here when Ramsey was born! Thought this was adorable/ hilarious.

Then practiced calligraphy.....next time I will do these activities in reverse order. My arms were exhausted from shooting and I had a hard time writing. Oh the problems.

Spring is here!

Spring is in full force in Nashville and I am so thankful for the amazing weather we have had over the past few days! Some pictures from my weekend:

Up early on Saturday to host a garage sale with some puppy friends

 

Had a friends wedding on Saturday -- it was an absolutely beautiful wedding! Loved the pretty engraved programs and the navy and gold color scheme

Sunday I spent the afternoon cleaning & replanting my patio

 

Patio replanting complete! I planted pink geraniums, purple and pink petunias, Gerber daisies, and yellow snapdragons (because they remind me of my grandmother Mimi). My topiaries that I bought a couple of years ago are still doing great and so is my rosemary that I planted for a dinner party last fall. I moved my baby orange tree outside for a few days this weekend, I hope by this time next year it will start producing some tiny oranges...wishful thinking!
